Tara Place MN, NP, IBCLC

Tara is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been an internationally board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) for over 20 years. She has worked with many disciplines within the community and began her own Woman and Infant Health Clinic –  LatchedOn Paediatrics in 2019. Tara specializes in tongue/lip ties, and is well versed in many pre-natal, breastfeeding, and postpartum clinical assessments. She remains active with the international breastfeeding community and stays up to date with current research. 

Our Approach

As breastfeeding experts and Internationally recognized lactation consultants, we provide overall care by reviewing any complications you or your baby are experiencing with breastfeeding, baby’s feeding, or health concerns.  During your 1 -on -1 consult, we will assess your latch and complete physical examination of the mother’s breasts. These consults include diagnoses and treatments for tongue/lip ties, mastitis, blocked ducts, acid reflux, yeast infections, infant allergies/food intolerances, and colic etc.
